At this level, workers will engage in activities and programs within the community that address mental disability and mental health. This work can be carried out in various community settings, such as home-based outreach, respite care, residential services, non-governmental organizations focused on the community, clinical settings, and rehabilitation programs. They may also assist individuals with mental disabilities in their employment. Mental health professionals typically work independently, with broad guidance from other professionals and experts.
In order to help your evaluator make a decision about your qualifications, you should provide a range of supporting proof. The evidence you may be asked to provide includes:

  • Identification documents such as your Medicare card, passport, driving license, or key pass.
  • A reference letter from your employer or manager that outlines your job responsibilities.
  • Payslips or ABN certificates if you are self-employed.

  • Minutes from meetings related to your work.
